Planned Initiatives
Agritourism Expansion
Expanding on our brewery tasting room, we envision a vibrant hub with ample outdoor seating, and engaging walking paths. These paths will feature educational opportunities about our farm elements. For a unique experience, we'll offer visitors, especially kids, the chance to fly farm drones and interact with small farm robots.
Value-Added Products
We're developing a line of specialty food products that showcase our farm's ingredients, including maple-infused condiments, honey-based preserves, and beer-flavored culinary items. These products will extend our brand and create year-round sales opportunities.
Christmas Tree Farm
We plan to cultivate a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm, offering a festive family experience. This will diversify our seasonal income and create cherished holiday traditions for our community.
Technological Growth & Sustainable Practices
Technology & Innovation
Our vision for the future heavily incorporates technology to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and visitor engagement. We are actively exploring and implementing the use of drones for crop monitoring and land surveying, small agricultural robots for tasks like weeding and harvesting in specialty crops, and advanced sensor networks for real-time monitoring of soil conditions, animal health, and environmental factors across the farm.
This data-driven approach will inform our management decisions and optimize resource use, ensuring we remain at the forefront of sustainable agriculture.
Renewable Energy Integration
We're exploring additional renewable energy systems to power our farm operations, building on our existing solar installations. This includes evaluating small-scale wind, micro-hydro, and biomass energy opportunities that could reduce our carbon footprint while providing educational demonstrations.
Our goal is to achieve energy independence while creating closed-loop systems that turn farm by-products into valuable resources. Jason's engineering background is particularly valuable in evaluating and implementing these technologies.
