Vermont mountains in winter

Our Story

The family behind Elements Farm and Brewery

Our Journey

Corporate boardroom representing past careers

From Corporate to Farm Life

Our story begins with a shared dream - to leave behind demanding corporate careers and build a more connected, grounded life on the land. After years in defense technology and healthcare procurement, we decided we wanted something tangible and lasting. A legacy, not just a living.

In 2026, we took the leap and bought 100+ acres of Vermont countryside. The land had everything we were looking for: mature maple forests, open pastures, rich soil, and soul-calming mountain views. We named it Elements - a nod to the variety of what we'll produce (cattle, honey, maple syrup, produce, beer) and to the foundational building blocks of a meaningful life: family, purpose, stewardship, and legacy.

Building a Resilient Future

We're also realists. As AI, robotics, and digital everything accelerate, we've taken a step back to ask: what role do we want to play in this world? Our answer isn't retreat - it's reinvention. Elements is our way of opting into a life that's resilient, hands-on, and built to matter.

Together, we're building more than just a farm - we're building a new way forward. One rooted in real work, real values, and a real place we're proud to call home. This is Elements. We're just getting started.

Our Values

Family First

Everything we do is centered around creating a meaningful legacy for our children and teaching them valuable skills. We make decisions that prioritize family time and shared experiences.

Stewardship

We see ourselves as caretakers of this land, committed to regenerative practices that improve soil health, protect water quality, and enhance biodiversity for future generations.

Quality

We take pride in producing exceptional products that reflect our commitment to excellence. From our maple syrup to our future craft beers, quality is never compromised.

Innovation

We blend traditional farming wisdom with modern techniques and technology, constantly learning and adapting to improve our methods and products.

Community

We believe in building strong relationships with our neighbors, customers, and fellow producers. Supporting the local economy and sharing knowledge are central to our mission.

Resilience

Our diversified approach helps us weather challenges and adapt to changing conditions. We're building a farm business that can thrive through various economic and environmental circumstances.

Meet Our Family

Jason

Jason

Co-Owner & Engineer

Jason has a long history of solving tough technical problems. Whether he's building out our maple sugaring system or reviving his long-dormant homebrewing habit, he's most alive when he's building systems that work - and breaking rules that don't.

Laney

Laney

Co-Owner & Farm Manager

Laney is a force of nature in logistics and leadership. With years of experience in procurement and operations, she keeps the farm running tight and smooth. And you might say she's a people person - her warmth and intuition turn neighbors into friends and customers into regulars.

Caius

Caius

Caius has a passion for nutrition, healthy eating, and a revulsion to anything artificial, processed or harmful (f*** u microplastics). He manages our herd of grass fed cattle and pasture raised chickens, and keeps us honest on quality and safety - if he won't eat it, we don't sell it!

Macklin

Macklin

Macklin is the connector. Whether pitching in with chores, solving hands-on problems, or learning the ropes of sales, he brings energy, empathy, and a sharp instinct for what people actually want.

Elliana

Elliana

Elliana is our young designer and builder. She's got an eye for layout, structure, and making things beautiful. Whether it's sketching a new idea or helping craft the ambiance of our farm spaces, her creativity is already shaping the feel of Elements.

Our Vision for the Future

As we continue to develop Elements Farm and Brewery, we envision a thriving agricultural enterprise that not only sustains our family but also contributes positively to our community and environment.

We're working toward opening our farm brewery, expanding our product offerings, and eventually welcoming visitors for tours, tastings, and educational experiences. We hope to inspire others to appreciate the connection between healthy land, quality food, and strong communities.

Most importantly, we're building a legacy that our children can choose to continue if they wish, giving them practical skills, environmental awareness, and entrepreneurial experience that will serve them well regardless of their future paths.
